Bhavishya Arogya Policy

Bhavishya Arogya policy has been designed keeping an eye on medical needs of persons those who are above the age of 55 years. For availing the benefit of this policy one has to take insurance during earning period of his life. The earning phase of the insured person can be considered between the age of 25 years to 55 years so that the medical benefit of the policy can commence above the age of 55 years which has been considered as retirement age. The retirement age has to be selected by the Insured at the time of taking the policy.
The basic indemnity limit of the policy is Rs.50,000/- which can be increased by additional units prior to 4 years of the commencement of benefit by payment of additional premium.

| Scope of the Policy |
|
The policy reimburses medical, surgical expenses following illness/accidental injury, incurred by the insured person during period which he has selected as his 'retirement age'.
- Basic benefit available Rs.50,000/- during the lifetime of the insured.
- Any one illness/injury limit Rs,20,000/-.

| Eligibility |
|
The lower age of entry into the scheme is 25 years and upper age 55 years. The age proof like Birth certificate, school certificate or any other certificate giving proof of age has to be submitted at the time of entry in scheme.

| Premium Payment |
|
The policy offers two payment options viz,
- Annual payment per year or
- Lumsum payment at one time
|

| Advantages of the Policy |
- Pre-acceptance medical check-up is not required.
- Pre-existing diseases are covered from day one of the selected period.
- No waiting period or first year exclusions.
- Withdrawal from scheme before the commencement of benefit or selected date.
- Assignment benefit available.
- Tax benefit under section 80-D is allowed upto premium of Rs.10,000/- by cheque payment.
